What is “Global Focus on Knowledge?”The course of “Global Focus on Knowledge” has started in 2005 as the world’s first attemp. The students in first and second grades, who have just taken their first step into the academic world, are expected to look at the global knowledge system on a macro scale, capture the entire picture of each fields and understand how they are organically-linked up with each other through this course.We’ll give you some chances to understand the meanings and the positions of the subjects that you are studying and think about your visions for the future.

学術俯瞰講義は、学問の入り口にいる大学1，2年生の皆さんが、「知」の大きな体系や構造をより広い視点から見ることにより、それぞれの学問領域の全体像はどうなっているのか、そして学問領域同士はどのように有機的につながっているのか、を学ぶ場となることを目指しています。「知」が増大し、複雑に絡み合っている現在、あなたの進もうとしている学問分野が思いがけない分野と交わっているかもしれません。文系、理系、という枠にとらわれず、色々な分野に足を踏み入れてみましょう。
